Privacy Policy
Valor Voyages LLC, DBA Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing
Effective Date: July 17, 2026
Valor Voyages LLC, doing business as Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operates this website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information obtained through our website and services.
Meta advertising measurement may run by default for visitors our hosting provider identifies as being in the United States unless they turn it off. Where prior permission is required or location cannot be determined, Meta measurement remains off until it is allowed. You can use our website and booking services either way and change your Meta advertising choice at any time.
This website is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Mailing address
- Reservation or booking details
- Payment-related information (processed by Stripe or QuickBooks)
- Communications submitted through forms or email
You are not required to provide personal information; however, certain services (such as bookings or payments) may not be available without it.

- IP address

- Device information
- Pages visited
- Interaction data
This information is used for operational, analytical, advertising, and security purposes.
Payment Processing (Stripe & QuickBooks)
We use third-party payment processors, including Stripe, Inc. and Intuit QuickBooks Payments, to process online and invoice-based payments.
- Payment information is transmitted directly to the processor using encrypted connections (SSL/TLS).
- We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
- Stripe and Intuit process payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable security standards, including PCI-DSS compliance where applicable.
We retain only transaction details reasonably necessary for accounting, customer service, recordkeeping, and legal compliance.
We make no warranties or representations regarding the security, practices, or performance of third-party payment processors, and your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

We may use collected information to:

- Communicate regarding reservations and services
- Provide customer support
- Send confirmations and operational updates
- Send marketing communications if you opt in
- Measure advertising effectiveness
- Improve website performance and user experience

We do not sell personal information.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the website, analyze traffic, measure advertising performance, and support marketing efforts.
Cookies may collect information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and interactions with the website.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate page visits and a small set of non-sensitive interactions, such as privacy-choice activity and booking-funnel milestones. Our custom events do not include names, contact or payment information, booking identifiers, trip dates, or prices.
You may control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling essential cookies may limit certain website functionality. Our separate Meta advertising choice does not affect essential booking functions.
Google Analytics and Google Advertising
We use Google Analytics to analyze website traffic and improve user experience.
We also use Google Ads, including remarketing and conversion tracking features. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
These technologies may collect:
- IP address
- Device identifiers
- Browser information
- Pages visited
- Interaction data
This data may be used to measure advertising effectiveness and deliver personalized advertisements.
Information collected through Google services is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We do not control how Google uses data collected through its services.
You may:
- Opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings
- Opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Adjust advertising preferences through your browser settings
Meta Pixel and Conversions API
Depending on your region and privacy choice, we use the Meta Pixel in your browser and Meta's server-side Conversions API to measure visits and bookings associated with Facebook and Instagram advertising. These tools may report events such as page views, content views, checkout starts, and purchases to Meta Platforms, Inc.
The information sent for measurement and event matching may include the Meta browser and click identifiers
_fbp and _fbc, your IP address, browser user-agent information, and your name, email
address, and phone number after those contact fields have been normalized and cryptographically hashed. Hashing
reduces direct exposure of the original contact fields but does not make the information anonymous.
We use this information to attribute bookings to advertising, measure campaign performance, improve and optimize our ads, and support advertising or remarketing audiences where permitted. Meta processes information under its own Privacy Policy. You can also review or change how Meta personalizes ads through Meta Ad Preferences.
Meta attribution identifiers, IP address, and browser information in a pending payment record become eligible for
deletion after 24 hours and are removed by the next scheduled cleanup; they are cleared sooner after a successful
Meta transmission or consent revocation. Booking and transaction records are retained under our ordinary business,
accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal retention practices. Your cbsf_meta_consent preference
cookie is retained for up to 180 days so the website can remember your choice.
For requests our hosting provider identifies as coming from the United States, Meta measurement may be on by
default until you turn it off. In other or unknown regions, it is off until you allow it. We use the hosting
provider's request country code only to select the applicable privacy mode. Turning Meta off does not affect your
ability to browse, check availability, or book. When you turn it off, we stop future Meta Pixel events and attempt
to delete the _fbp and _fbc cookies where your browser permits. This cannot recall data
already transmitted to Meta. We also honor an enabled Global Privacy Control browser signal by keeping Meta
advertising measurement off.
This choice applies only to Meta tools; use the Google controls described above for Google advertising and analytics preferences. You may review or change your Meta choice here:
SMS/Text Messaging
Our SMS program operates under the brand name Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing. If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you may receive text messages such as booking confirmations, trip and balance reminders, schedule updates, customer support replies, and — only if you separately opt in to marketing — occasional offers and promotions. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (443) 347-4464 or capt@chesapeakebaysportfishing.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share text messaging opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected for the purpose of sending text messages is shared only with service providers that help us operate our messaging program (for example, our SMS platform provider), and only as needed to deliver the messages you have requested.
Full messaging terms are described in our SMS Terms. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link provided in those emails.
