Weather & rescheduling

Safety comes first. If weather conditions are not suitable, we will work with you to reschedule your trip or discuss available refund options.

Is rockfish season closed in August?

Yes — Maryland’s rockfish (striped bass) season pauses August 1 – 31 and reopens September 1. We still run trips all month: crabbing charters, blue catfish trips, bow fishing, bottom fishing, and Bay cruises. See the fishing season calendar for details.

Deposits & payment timing

The deposit shown during booking secures your reservation and applies toward your total trip cost. Remaining balance details are shared after booking confirmation.

Trip duration

Typical duration is up to 6 hours or the legal catch limit is reached - a sign of a productive day.

What to bring

Bring food, drinks (no glass), weather-appropriate layers, and sun protection. Rods, tackle, and bait are provided unless otherwise noted.

Arrival time & meeting location

Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before departure at Queen Anne Marina, 412 Congressional Dr, Stevensville, MD 21666.

Cancellation policy

  • The required deposit is shown before checkout and applies toward the trip total
  • 21+ days notice required for cancellation/reschedule without forfeiting deposit
  • Trips canceled within 72 hours or no-shows are subject to base vessel charges
